Our morning starts with squeezed-to-order organic orange juice and breakfast pastries from our traditional long-rise croissant line: croissants, danish, sticky buns and the ever popular ham & cheese croissant.
Organic poached eggs are served over our levain sourdough, a toasted croissant, or a savory potato-rosemary tart. Complimented by Niman Ranch Bacon and hams, friendly service and and exceptional coffee, it’s a great way to start your day.
Cafe Brio coffee is consistently judged the best in the county. We work with highly acclaimed specialty rosters to bring you the finest brew, and train our baristas carefully to pull perfect shots and delicious pour-over every time.
Service begins at 7am weekdays, and 8am on weekends.
Weekdays our lunch menu begins at 11:30, with a selection of ready-to-go and grilled-to order sandwiches, a variety of salads, hot sandwich specials, pizza, beer and wine.
The special Weekend Brunch menu kicks in at 9am on Saturday and Sunday, featuring handmade hollandaise from organic eggs and butter, house made sausage from Niman Ranch pork, and a special omelettes and brunch salad.
... & Dinner
Dinner service is offered Friday and Saturday evenings, beginning at 5 pm.
We stay open until 9pm, with casual and inventive Bistro fare & special plated desserts from our pastry chefs. Most Fridays during the summer we have live music on our (heated) patio, local new folk-jazz-grass music with a gently engaging ambience for your evening enjoyment.
When the season warrants, we offer a Farm-to-Table Prix Fixe dinner, usually once a month.
Coffee & Wine
Coffee is a very central part of the Cafe Brio experience. We now serve coffees from Flying Goat Coffee in Healdsburg, CA. Their sklled coffee buyers and roasters are a good match for the discriminating tastes of our customers and their nearby training facility allows ongoing training of our baristas, who put a high level of craftsmanship into their drinks. We are committed to serving deeply satisfying and exceptional coffee.
Our Wine list showcases both French and Humboldt County wines. We look for wines that demonsrate an understanding of traditional artisanal styles. The French traditional style, which we champion, features wines of depth and finesse, low alcohol, subtle, delicate aromas and remarkable flavors, with a deep connection to the soils and microclimates in which they are produced. We list several local wines made from Humboldt county grapes that meet our quality and terroir standards. Our local wine selection has recently expanded as we find such wines, which are frequently in limited supply.
